These are some of the hardest items to describe, but you only need to use it once to know that it works. When starting a lace project that incorporates an invisable start, you must have a 'third' hand to hold the bobbins in place while you do the initial CTCT combinations and get one portion secured into place. Then you can remove the bar and work in the opposite direction.
 

 

 

 

 

The items are available in all of your favorite woods and come in two sizes.

The 5" bar has 4 holes on each side; the smaller 3" version has 2 holes on each side.
